Junior Data Engineer

We’re expanding and looking for a Full Time Data Engineer to join our team (2 positions needed)! The successful candidates will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.

Job title: Data Engineer

Job Summary:

• Creates reports and design templates to be used in different fields and industries.
• Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing raw data, reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.
• Creates a single source of truth using the customers’ data.
• Interpret data, analyze results using basic statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
• Merge non-structured data with other information to create structured analyzable data and turns it into manageable visualization.

• 1-2 Years Experience.
• Excellent written & verbal communications skills; able to articulate technical concepts in non-technical terms.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience and previous usage of couple of BI tools, data pipeline, ETL software is a must.
• Experience in using Python is a must.
• Familiarity with Data Warehousing and Data centralization concepts and different structures.
• Excellent Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Good Knowledge of SQL, MS Access, DAX.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Knime, Alteryx, AWS DHW, GCP, Azure-DF, Azure DWH is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 1 years to 2 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Engineering, and Data Management preferably with a major of Business Informatics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Engineering. (Other interested individuals with different background are welcomed to apply provided they have experience in the related matter)

Working Environment

• 3 Days remote working hours with flexible arrangement & 2 days’ work from office (Total 5 working days a week).
• Location 5th Settlement New Cairo, Cairo Egypt
